Recently we have been discussing what a Twitter chat is and how you can benefit from participating in them. There are some really interesting weekly Twitter chats you can join to connect with some great people. We shared some of our favorite social media Twitter chats as well as our favorite personal finance Twitter chats. All of these chats provide great know-how for those of you in small business but there are a couple of chats specifically covering small business topics.
#Smallbizchat- Held every Wednesday at 8-9pm ET using the hashtag #Smallbizchat. Melinda Emersen hosts as @SmallBizLadyand interviews small business experts each week. Melinda states that the goal of #Smallbizchat is “to end small business failure”. #Smallbizchat was launched in April of 2009 to help small business owners get answers to many of their frequently answered questions. The Twitter chat is co-hosted by @AmandaMogul. #Smallbizchat is the largest community of small business owners on Twitter reaching over a million Twitter accounts each week. - #Bizforum Twitter Debate- This Twitter chat is known for being the first weekly debate on Twitter. It features a mix of business executives, PR, marketing and customer service professionals who all exchange their opinion on today’s trending business topics. Hosted by @samifiorella Wednesdays 8-9pm ET. Sensei Marketing is a consulting and technology firm focused on aiding global companies grow their business value through improved customer experiences. Sam Fiorella, moderator of the chat is a partner at Sensei Marketing as well as aco-author of Influence Marketing: How To Create, Manage, and Measure Brand Influencers in Social Media.
- #Smbiz Chat- Hosted each Tuesday from 8-9 p.m.ET by @sternalpr and @sternalmrktg #Smbiz chat is where small business owners can get answers from weekly expert guests as well as other small business owners. Sternal Consulting is run by Chrisanne and John Sternal, who share a 20 years helping companies and organizations increase sales and awareness through a variety of techniques. In 2008 they created UnderstandingMarketing.com to teach small business owners “do-it-yourself” marketing and public relations tactics.
